The Details: Ye Olde Custom House is a pub on Watergate Street occupying a former customs building close to where the old watergate once stood. The building has genuine age and the interior reflects it. It is a comfortable, traditional pub in a part of Chester that rewards slow exploration rather than a quick pass-through.
“Best pub food we have had in a long time. The fish and chips was delicious as was the steak and ale pie. The pub was a nice traditional pub, staff super friendly and toilets clean. We will definitely recommend this pub and we will revisit.”
