The Details: Tucked slightly away from the immediate city centre in the lively Garden Quarter, this gem of a micropub took over the former Goat & Munch premises and has quickly become a massive local favourite. It offers an ever-changing, brilliant selection of cask ales, keg beers, ciders, and wines. It is deliberately designed for conversation, so you won't find any loud background music here. It is also hugely dog-friendly—expect dog biscuits ready and waiting at the bar!

“What a cracking little pub, with some wonderful ales on 🍺👌 I didn't try and food, as it was just a quick pint, whilst waiting for somebody, but I'll definitely be back.”
